I know it's only worth what someone is willing to pay but I am just looking for a good idea of what this would be worth. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll take a stab.
The 3 factors weighing against this ball are as follows.... * Apparent light shellac or varnish, accounting for slight yellowing and some surface chipping * The personalization, "To Bobby" (might not bother some, but it keeps the price down) * The market/economy. Ruth balls have taken a slight dive over the last 2 years... especially lower-to-mid grade examples On the plus side, it is a very nice/bold/clear signature. That said, I think it should sell for $2,800 - $3,200. But I am biased against shellacked and personalized balls, so perhaps others here will value it higher. |
