Default T210 with the Price just right....

(ok, not really...)

- I don't normally post links, but I was floored when I saw this card for sale. I emailed the seller to ask why and his comment was, "he wanted to try his luck." Since this was so absurd, I decided to click on his other baseball items for sale, and I think the picture became clearer...

- I am still amazed at how uninformed some folks are... I surely understand if you don't know what something is worth, but if you actually take 17 seconds to look on ebay, it will show you a general range... All of this seller's cards are so grossly high, it left me speechless. Especially for 80's/90's wax cards. The time it took to list the cards on ebay, scans, etc. and possible loss on the listing makes this one unbelievable ebay scenario...

Enjoy :

Edited : I just scrolled down to his other items for sale and he has a Topps Traded Cal Ripken For Sale for a cool $20 Grand... I guess, this card makes the T210 actually look like a good deal...

Check his feedback. He bought the card last week for $89.88. Fool would have better luck buying a lottery ticket.

At least he took down the $6,999.99 BIN price.

I also like the 1982 Topps Ripken he is offering for $19,999.99!

Default T210...

Turner - I just caught that Cal Ripken... HOLY COW !

I did notice that he had the BIN up for a day, and after I emailed him, he answered the next day, and I noticed he took the BIN down. Now, I am not saying my question rattled his confidence (), but by asking why the card was so high, he did lower it by a few thousand...

I am just belly laughing while I am typing... I gotta go do something more productive...

Well, I started to laugh until I realized the Ripken was graded a 10 Pristine by the illustrious GEM Grading Company...

...so then I laughed even louder!! Thanks for sharing this goofball's auctions. Capped my end of workday perfectly!!

Default T210

Thomas Hobbes influenced me so much that I no longer am surprised by the
depths of stupidity or avarice or darkness in which folks may indulge themselves---even as they sell our beloved vintage cards.

best,

barry

Default Welcome to Reality World .....

I'm a great believer in giving credit, when credit is due.

When I first saw the sellers original listing, I almost nominated him for the Presidency of the Flippers Club ... with Palin as his vice president.

To err is human ... we all had a good chuckle ... and he's made an adjustment.

From the nasties on Planet 54 ..... Welcome aboard.
