I recently have had some conversation with Chico Fernandez and his wife about Chico's playing days memorabilia. He lost all of it prior to 1961 due to Fidel and the Cuban crisis. He is trying to recapture some of his memories and leave a legacy to his family before he passes. Chico at 75 is in his twilight and wants his family to know who he was in his youth. I had the opportunity to give Chico a Wire Photo with Roberts, Ashburn, and Chico and it was well worth it. Chico is not rich, a Chico auto gets only so much, but if you think you have something he may like please E mail me. Thanks Bruce Kasarda |
