I just called our Troll's house and spoke with his Dad......The email address is absolutely his......His name is Billy Gilliam.....and his Dad says he will call me back...At this point I am positive who it is as his Dad confirmed the email address.....OK you lawyers.....is it worth it to continue? As far as his address I do have the parent's address where he lived while in school....but little Billy is now 25 yrs old.....and I am also positive he can be tracked down....thoughts....

His Dad seemed like a very nice gentleman. From what I could tell he was who he was and had no idea about what his son is up to. He has no idea what we are and what we do...I could pretty much tell he was not the perpetrator on this...... Billy doesn't live at home anymore either..... Like I say he confirmed his son's email address and his name is Timothy (the dad) and the son is Billy, hence the bgilliam83 email address......so little Billy was born in 1983, which jives also....His dad said he collects cards too...so it all adds up. BTW, his mom answered and she sounded very nice also....regards

From what he said in one of his recent vulgar posts it was because I had made fun of him for asking a question about a Goudey card. I don't remember the incident nor do I make fun of folks asking questions. Maybe I was a little sarcastic but again really don't remember... So now the question is "what do I gain by going after him legally, and with the deleted posts, do I still have a case?"......Do we have any lawyers in Nevada? This might be a good PR case for trolls on the internet.....regards

Admittedly, my knowledge of this comes from watching The Godfather, but wouldn't it be nice if you knew anyone, an attorney perhaps, who had connections with alleged organized crime families. I hear that said families often have a "branch office" in or near Las Vegas. Perhaps they could have someone ring young Mr. Gilliam's doorbell some night and suggest that it isn't nice to post vulgar comments on a G-rated message board.

I called the Reno police dept and didn't get through. I think it's too late there right now. I will call them tomorrow and, most likely, take direction from them. Depending on when/if his dad, or he, calls me back will help me decide on what direction to go. Most likely it will be pressing charges on him locally and then flying there if I need to for the prosecution. If anyone, other than the few folks who have emailed me privately, have his posts saved I might need them in the future...for evidence...regards

I know that its hard but posters here have to be careful about giving this little fellow ammo against the board with some of the comments about him personally (about what he did is probably fine). According to a Reno police substation, that I just called, the main number gets about 130 calls an hour on Monday. I have been put on terminal hold a few times. I will try them again tomorrow. After I told my wife he said stuff about our daughter she is all for prosecuting.....We'll see where this goes....
