Default I'm not a happy camper

Posted By: warshawlaw

I bought a decent N28 Cody at a show in early february where GAI was doing on site grading. It pregraded a 3.5 and I decided to have them encapsulate.

I hadn't heard anything, so I finally called. The rep first says that they messed up and would have to make good, and he'd call me back with a status. He calls back later and tells me that they had the card sitting there for a while waiting for me to pick it up. Of course, there's nothing on the invoice about a pickup; to the contrary, it says "fed ex" and has my account # on it. So I tell them to ship the card.

I get the card today in the usual small box and get my next pleasant surprise. The knuckle-dragging mouth breathers in their shipping department did not wrap the holder in anything and let it slide all around the inside edges of the box. I now have a nicely scratched holder that I've got to return for re-encapsulation. So I guess I'll eat postage both ways.

So, I didn't get a make-good, they erred (I won't say lied) on the transport, they damaged the goods, and I'm probably gonna have to eat postage both ways to get it fixed. ARGHH!!!

Can anyone spell SGC???
