Default Which one of you bought this T206 Joss?

$47.25 before tax. What a card! At what point is it no longer a card? Love to see beaters this bad, taking well loved to the extreme. I have a few almost this bad but Joss would take the cake.

Time to do a at home restoration project. I’ve thought about trying this with couple of mine that have minimal corner paper loss. Anyone ever done something similar?

I’m actually the one that bought it. Thought it was hilarious! $50 well spent. Can post screenshots as proof if needed

Sure hope BODA is keeping the 'before' picture as a reference, because the next time we see this Joss, it'll be sitting pretty in a PSA 8 holder.

Congrats, I almost bid. I love beaters and it doesn’t get much more beat than this Addie. I loved the sellers grading of “obviously very poor”

EDIT: Memory is wrong and it’s “obviously poor condition.”

Someone out there may have a rare portrait side view, with an ultra-rare "To" back on their T206 card.

Cool card, a bit far gone for me. But if I knew the story that might make it more my thing.

If I bought this and was friends with a professional graphic restoration team I would have 3/4 of a redrawn Joss and 1/4 original.

It’s a 2 for 1 - An off back because it’s not a Sweet Cap or a Piedmont and an off back because half the back is off and gone somewhere else!

It's a cool card, but it doesn't hold a candle to my Piedmont Honus Wagner.

Hello, I spoke with the seller. He had ones in worse condition than the joss. All same back. He had a graded Cobb too that was in more presentable shape. The story is they were attached to a chest, he and his friend couldn’t sell the chest as a while so they decided to just go for it. Got very lucky with the backs. I thought the Cobb would get more. I won the Clark, probably one of the better looking ones

Upon close inspection, that corner appears to have some chipping.

Maybe many folks would disagree, but all things considered, I believe the card is a total joss.

It's a card until you can't tell who is on the front.

Card, or not a card?

Brian (not a scan of the actual back, got to scan it some day, but the back is nice like the one shown)

If you buy what you love you can never go wrong! I do the same thing. Some cards just have our name written on them!
