I see at least 5 different dealers simultaneously dumping their entire store inventory into active auctions...

makes a ton of $ doing this. The dealers end the listing in their stores and then list them as a regular auction. When the over-priced cards don't sell the dealers have to re-list them in the stores which in turn gives Ebay more $.

This must be something ebay did automatically - how else would so many dealers simultaneously decide to move their inventory into active auctions at such an odd time for listing?

Question is, why did ebay do this and why now?

Matt - yesterday eBay notified everyone via their public board that today would be a .20 cent fixed price day. Naturally today many are taking advantage of it and with over 12 more hours to list items, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The best thing...I listed a few cards yesterday before they announced the sale. YEA!

I'm guessing eBay does this because closer to Christmas the listings start to die down, especially right now, not too many people want their auctions to end around Christmas Eve or day.

Jay - can you link me to that announcement. I have tested a couple of listings on Turbo Lister and am being charged a normal listing fee, not a 20 cent fee.
Turbo Lister always has the latest listing fee in their calculations.
