Default Before PSA or SGC, there was SBC ?

I found this slabbed card in one of my archive boxes. I don't remember where I got it, but I think it predates PSA and SGC ? Any thoughts ?

Sbc I believe was actually founded by joe merkle who i believe later started sgc.

I believe that it pre-dates SGC but not PSA

flip and slab look very much like the early SGC slabs. I remember seeing those back in the day, but never bought one.

The graphic element containing "SBC" reminds me of the element used on the back of the SGC holders at one time:

I think ASA Accugrade was the first.

yes ASA was a couple years before PSA, late 80's (Alan Hager)
