Default Help with 1977 ALCS Ticket

I picked up this ALCS ticket that I think is from 1977. But it's for Game X???

Does that mean it's a proof? If not, any ideas about it?

Thanks.

Is that “ vs X “ ?
Perhaps a pre-sale before they new Who was coming out of the west .
I didn’t research the playoff race it too much but I did find the Royals went 24-1 from August 31 to September 25

I think that's YS X where YS stands for Yankee Stadium.

Gary definitely some sort of proof ticket. These were plentiful back in the day and The NY city show even used them as admission tickets one year. Attendance back then was around 1k. A ticket for a game would have the game number listed where the x is. Example of game 1 ticket attached.
