Default What is a dream card of yours that you had a chance to acquire but waited too long?

This Griffey is mine

You could have had one these for significantly less money just a few years ago.

I took for granted how good prices were and now it's outside of my range.

That UD Mantle/Griffey auto is one of my top ones as well. I remember scoffing at one for $1100 not even that long ago.

Back in Pre-COVID 2019 one of the shops in Cooperstown had a PSA 4 1951 Bowman Willie Mays RC for $3,500.

Ahhhh memories.

Get this thread off BST!!!

But for me it's the 51 Mays in mid-grade. Could've snagged one a few years ago for $2k but held off for some reason. Now it would take a down payment for a 2 bedroom bungalow in Yonkers to buy the same card

Way to many to post buy a top few are:

Gretzky OPC blue lines in mid-high grade
Trout Update RC Diamond Anniversary, Congnac, and Target Red
Joe Jackson RC
Ect ect.

I was happy to land this Gehrig not long ago so I am very pleased with that.
