Default Advice for selling Lladro and hummels?

I know many of you here have diversified collections beyond sports - wondering if anyone here has any helpful experience they’d be willing to share regarding Lladro and Hummels - my family and I inherited quite a number of these items from my parents and I think I may try and sell them soon for the estate.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

While I'm sure some of these have some value...but from what my friend in the estate business tells me for the most part they're not worth what they used to be?

I'd do google search for a few and see what comes up. This would help to determine how to sell/get rid of them?

I had never heard of Lladro. But I recognized them once I Google them.

As for Hummel, my connection in Antiques refused to consign them, he said they were a waste of shelf space. He had a group of 100+ and didn't sell one in 6 months. This was in 2013. Things haven't improved in 10 years. Your best bet is to try to sell them as a lot for $10 each and hope someone else will take a chance on them.

My mom collected brass and milk glass. Those also don't sell. I will keep some of the covered milk glass dishes dishes for sentimental purposes, but I'll probably have to trash the rest.

Depends on your timeline. Here in Florida I would definitely use my antique mall shelf space to sell that type of item.
The market may be saturated where some people are, but that doesn't mean they're worthless or not worth selling. I think they would do well in a local auction in small lots.

But if you can rent a display case at an antique mall in the area for a reasonable price, give that a shot.
