Default Lou Gehrig Autograph Help

So,

I came across this one at a fairly local auction and must say that I have not seen a similar exemplar... The signature has been authenticated by a reputable TPA, but something just makes me feel uneasy about it...

Any other thoughts? good/bad/indifferent?

Thanks in advance!
Dave

I don't like it much either - but the tpa, whether right or wrong, will be all that the future buyer cares about

Default Gehrig

Thanks guys...

The piece that really gets me is the start of the upper loop in the "L" I have only seen exemplars that start to the left of the post...

I'm not crazy about this Gehrig, either. But...

Here's a genuine Gehrig (1939) in which the upper loop begins to the right:

Default Lou Gehrig

Thanks for sharing David. The one in the auction seems to have a very hard start and extremely thick lines...
