Forgot I picked this card up a few months ago. It's a really cool 1933 Goudey #178 Jackie Warner (Philadelphia Phillies) with an upside down ghost image of #177 Walter French on the front. Call this what you want...a ghost image, printers scrap, etc. but it meaures correctly, so it was probably inserted into some unlucky kids pack back in 1933. Gives some insight as to the printing methods, etc. of the time, and is a true one-of-a-kind item. Anybody that is interested shoot me an offer at rhettyeakley@netzero.com. |
