Any confirmation yet that the other two in the vehicle were not his teammates? |

The other two were not Angels personnel. They haven't named the others, unfortunately his dad was out last night for the game. What a tragedy. |

Accident happened 4 blocks from where I live. DUI driver ran from scene, and was caught a mile away. I hope they lock this guy up for ever. |

A very sad day for baseball and heartbreaking for his family, friends, and fans. The Timberwolf Malik Sealy was killed the same way right up the street from me. Everytime I go under or over the bridge I think about him and what a tradegy it was. The drunk driver that hit him was finally released from prison and got another DUI within a couple months. |

What makes it more sad was that he had just pitched, sucks that the closer blew the game for him. My thoughts are with his family. |

I went to bed last night right after the final pitch of the Angels game. What a tragedy. |

No matter how many times you hear a story about someone killed by a drunk driver, it does little to nothing to dissuade the next guy from drinking and getting behind the wheel. I don't believe people will ever learn a lesson. |

The driver of the mini-van should get life with no parole. Let him rot. |

Listening to the Angels station all morning. This guy has priors and was driving on a suspended license. The charge will reportedly be murder. I hope this idiot burns!!! |

I had two high school friends killed by drunk drivers in separate incidents. I personally don't think manslaughter fits the bill...it should be murder. There is never an excuse to drink and drive. |

Truly one of the saddest things I have ever seen in Baseball during my lifetime. I cant imagine having your child taken from you on the same day of their greatest achievement in life. Just absolutely horrible. |

this could happen to anyone anywhere, including a National .Say you have 3 beers and drive off , you may not be drunk but at an 0.8, it would be enough to put you in this same situation if you killed someone and you may have not thought that you were impaired enough to have another driver drive....well bad luck could be on your side that day, be careful. |
