Look at this auction that ended today....and then look at all of the sellers completed auctions. |

Kind of like the person selling cut up T-202 panel's a few weeks back. Only worse. Always amazed to see what people will do. |

Michael, did that person cut up the T202's or did they find them like that? I'm sure it was tempting for kids back in the days to cut those up. |

Dan, good question. I think they were on ebay but since I finished my Red Sox T-202 subset, I did not pay much attention other then to roll my eyes when I saw them. There may have been a small thread on them on this board but not sure. My guess is they were already cut up they did get some good money for them. I think there was a Cobb. |

I guess some people really believe the sum of its parts is greater than the whole. Sad. |

Not so dumb when you consider he made over $600 by incorrectly identifying the team and the players. There were enough similarities to make some people think McGraw and Burkett were on there, but the rest of the guys were not even close. Not only that, but the uniforms dont match any year that St. Louis ever played. I spent some time researching these items because at first glance the Burkett and McGraw look pretty close, however, when taking the other photos into consideration, I dont think there is ANY way these photos are who he reports them to be. Take a look at the ones he says are Mike Donlin and especially Bobby Wallace if you want a chuckle. |

If anyone gets one of the photos, hit it with black light and let's see what it is. |

I grew up there and lived there for 40 years. Something must be in the water there! |
