Thanks JimB. I don't think it has ever been explained why Goudey chose to put Lajoie on that card; he had been retired from baseball for something like 18 years at the time it was issued.

Eric, that Goudey is simply breathtaking; truly one of the nicest cards I've ever seen posted on Net 54.

And Rob, you're holding back; that Kahn is a nice PC but I suspect you've got others not yet posted.

Phil, I bought it at an REA auction a few years ago.
The winner could not pay so I purchased it at my last bid amount. It's definitely one of my favorite cards!

Wow, Dennis that photo is amazing. It looks like the Photo that was used for the T206 w/ Bat card. The M110 ain't no slouch either.
