My favorite "R" card would be the autographed '34 Goudey Gehrig portrait posted in the recent "Triple Crown" thread. (Yes, Matt W., it is my card and I feel lucky to have it. And, if the economy keeps doing what it's doing I may have to garage sale it for a case of Spam or a wheelbarrow full of Weimar dollars). [Edited to add that I just saw that Heritage has a similarly signed Gehrig #37, a real beauty http://tinyurl.com/3kmnxl ; so much for unique cards, might have to knock a few cans of Hawaii's favorite luncheon meat off my price]. So many great "R" cards, so hard to choose. My next favorite "R" card is a toss-up between the '33 Goudey Ruth Batting and the Sport Kings Grange. Love everything about both cards. |

R337 Babe Ruth, my count won't catch my 1969 Frank Robinson but I think I have 12 of them. |
