I attended an estate sale this morning in Spring Glen, PA that had a rather large find of 1928 Yuengling Ice Cream cards. There were a total of 154 cards that included 6 Ty Cobbs and 5 Lou Gehrigs. The cards were sold in ten lots of 15 cards each and one lot of four cards. Choice lot with the best Cobb and Gehrig brought $2150. Missed the price for the rest of the lots. The cards there included 53 of the 60 cards in the set. No Babe Ruth and #48 Earl Smith was also absent. Can anyone provide a scan of a Yuengling #48 Earl Smith to prove the card actually exist? |
