I used to visit it but not on a regular basis. Seems like they would have a long dry spell between updates.

The domain is still registered and hosted at dreamhost.com

Lots of things could have happened; server crash, forgot to pay hosting fees... I would keep checking the site, once the owners realizes its down, he will likely work to get it back in place.
