Does anyone have any experience with how to handle a situation where a card submitted raw was damaged either in transit or while at the grading company's location? |

I had a card damaged by SGC some years back, it wasn't a pre-war card it happen to be a Jeff Bagwell rookie that had been damaged during the encapulation process (already been graded, just being encased in holder). I have never seen the card or told what the grade was since it was being encased in the holder when it was damaged. |

I opened a box of 1979 Topps wax packs several years ago and submitted to PSA the cards that I thought had a shot at a 9 or 10. Jim Palmer came back in a 6 with a new inch-long indentation in the front of the card. I never tried to get any money back; I just stopped getting my cards graded at that point. |
