Rogers Hornsby Card Help

Rogers Hornsby only played one season for the Brave's in 1928. (.387) Does anyone know of any other card besides 1928 Exhibits W461-7 (28) that shows Hornsby as a memeber of the Braves?

On the 28 Exhibit says his team Boston N.L.



There are a lot of other cards for him from 1928 all the ice cream F50 cards but it does not designate a team.

The set known as 1926-29 Exhibits will also have a Hornsby on the Boston Braves.

The 1926-29 Exhibits can be found with Hornsby listed with St. Louis, Boston, or Chicago (3 variations).

It will look similar to this card but say Boston NL

The Exhibit card you are refering to sat Boston N.L. on it but shows him in a Cardinals uniform. I was hoping there was a card of him in a Braves uniform.

Tim, I know what you mean. Too many recycled photos in the early years. I just looked at the Braves uniforms for that year, the hats are a solid blue, home and away are both pinstriped. Not many pictures of Hornsby from 1928, I found only 1 small one that doesnt match any known cards that I know of.
