My mouth was watering when I saw this auction, but I was unaware that there were reprints of any e107, so I didn't take the gamble. If it's real, then the buyer got one hell of a deal. Although, the same seller sold a reprint T206 Wagner for $160, so I may have done the right thing in passing on this one... |

Has any card on ebay ever turned out to be real when the seller says they are selling it as a reprint? |

There was a guy whose Ebay handle was "Bailbonds702" (no longer a registered user -- shocking) who sold a slew of reprints of rarer vintage cards a couple months back. They were obviously homemade as they covered several sets which have never been reprinted legitimately, like Boston Garters, N167's and e107's. He did, however, clearly identify them as reprints, and not "sold as a reprint." |

You are right about that Dan. It seems every other card in the Pre-1930 section is a reprint. When I saw that the buyer sold a fake t206 Wagner, I figured this one was a reprint as well. Also, the fact that he was listing it as reprint because he did not know anything about the card drew up a red flag. Thanks for the response guys. |
