Sgc crossover

I am thinking about crossing over my Psa registry set to Sgc. Does anyone know how the process work? Do you stipulate a minimum grade? Do they take the card out of the holder to grade it? I will call Sgc on Monday, but I was hoping to put the submission in over the weekend.
