A lot of these I see online look like they just came back from the dry cleaners, but I don't even like the way they do my shirts. I'm tempted to plop it in a bowl of Downey and then an iron set on low. Anyone with experience in this before it takes the plunge? |

I have always been afraid to put water on a B 18. I think the colors might run. I have seen many old blankets that look like the colors have done just that. If you try it, please let us know the results. |

Buy a beater, cut it in half or quarters, and test several methods. I'm sure you can get one in rough shape for $10 or less. |

I think yours looks just dirty. Beaters have oil stains, ketchup or mud on them. |
