You have to be a big wig, whatever that means, to get a live person. Of course the phone will tell you to go online because they would get so many calls if they gave out their to everyone. |

I hope you aren't inferring I am a big wig?, though I guess I could use one....being mostly bald and all......At any rate I do have 1 # for the gentleman I work with in the Ebay fraud dept. If this request has anything to do with that kind of issue then I would make that call for Tony...as I would for any board member.....BTW, what is the definition of a "big wig"? Just curious.... |

I mean someone who generates a lot of $ per month. A friend told me he complained to ebay online that he needs to talk to a live person and told them he spends thousands of $ a month so they should give him a phone #. and he got it... |

You know ebay has a chatroom that you can use if you want to interact with a customer service representative. You can access it from your home page. We've used it a few times and it's been helpful. You can always start there. |

I live about 5 minutes literally from Ebay's HQ's...I have gone to the office on behalf of others with complaints..they tell me the customer service dept is handled via email or phone and not in person. I told them I'm here because that wasn't working...the only thing I got them to do was to take the copies of my friend's complaints and they promised to forward it to the customer service dept. Ofcourse nada..my friends got it resolved eventually but it involved myriad of emails and phone calls. Standing in the lobby, I felt like Michael Moore in one of his films... |
