Card talk around the bar

I've found that the after hours discussions with other collectors at the bar ccan prove not only informative but also very entertaining. If you go to the show in Chicago next year, try to stay at the hotel where most of the 54ers are staying and wander down to the bar at night. You learn a lot more than you would think about cards, from pricing to information about the cards themselves and the hobby in general. For you lurkers out there, don't feel shy about introducing yourselves and joining in. The comeraderie is great and the discussions lively and fun.
