I am sitting in my office counting down the hours until I arrive in Cleveland.

It will be great to meet the various people I've chatted with over the years. As a collector, I'm excited to find cards to finish up sets, and some other oddball White Sox stuff (if any such things exist in Cleveland!).

Anyways, just thought I'd share. I still love card shows.

It will be easy to pick me out as well. I will be the young, poor slob lurking around Leon and Scott's table for a while. It will be nice to meet everyone I met in Chicago two years ago. Go tribe, by the way, I sure hope it is one heck of a game.

Me too. I was debating back and forth about not going just b/c of so much work travel this month and roof/gutter/window project coming up. But now that I've decided to go I'm really looking forward to it, and the time off work too.

Actually, I've never been to a card show of any kind. Might as well start off right, right?

I am a night owl, not a morning person, but I'm going to have to get up in 7 hours to catch the early flight to Memphis and then on to Cleveland. I'll be at the Sheraton a little after noon, hope to see many of you tomorrow night!

I think we will once again have a lot of fun. To me this is a big part of collecting, the social aspect. I am not sure I would do it if there wasn't any camaraderie...I am picking Scott B. up at 7am, our flight leaves at about 8:30am, and we get into Clev about 12:30....so we will probably be at the show around 1-2pm (knock on wood )..Not sure if we will set up tomorrow (probably not) but we might throw our stuff in the cases...we'll see......see ya'll there....

I am not excited because I live in NY and Cleveland is to far to travel just to socialize. I have been to 7 Nationals and not to pour cold water on the show but I believe it should be held in more places than it is. Everyone said Atlantic City is know good but how about NYC, Boston,Baltimore or Philly and then one big convention for the West Coast. CN

I just arrived (2:00 pm. Eastern). The drive from Chicago took just over six hours. Pretty much what I expected. I am firmly ensconced here at the Airport Sheraton taking a little rest from the drive. Looking forward to the dinner tonight and hitting the tables first thing tomorrow. Wish you were here.

Boy Steve i sure do miss mine . But the realities of two kids and football practice made the 750i more realistic.
