OT: PayPal question

Has anyone been having problems with PayPal payments clearing lately? The last four payments that I have sent remain "uncleared" and show the hourglass figure under payment status on eBay. Under payment details on Paypal for each of the transactions a date is given for expected clearing (the earliest of the four is tomorrow...we shall see). The curious thing is that all of the payments have cleared my account. I have been using PayPal almost since its inception and have never had this issue before. Any comments would be appreciated.
