Can anyone tell me the approximate value of these and what would be the best company to use for grading them? I am just looking to get an authentic slab on each one. Thanks, Mike |

Since they were cut from the poster would the grading companies even slab them "authentic?" They have an odd shape and might not even fit into a traditional holder. Not sure about this though. |

I do recall a display of Johnson on Ebay about a month back, but I do not remember what it ended at. |

Each of those cards is a different size and shape, so every sleeve would have to be custom cut. |

I agree with Barry, I don't think SGC will even grade them as authentic, except maybe the Cobb, because they have as one of their bases for rejection that the cards don't meet minimum size requirements. Good luck though. |

Those are cool 'cards' but I agree -- authentic what? |

In keeping with the spirit of the hobby, and since they are collectible, I would hope SGC would consider an "A" for authentic, and then a qualifier as "cut from ad piece"....but that could potentially open up another can of worms too. As for the custom inserts, no problem, charge a few extra bucks and viola...custom insert. Debatable topic and I am not 100% either way right now (as to the issue of them being able to be slabbed)...regards |

I truthfully don't think SGC will slab them. Why don't you send Mike Goldberg at SGC an e-mail, he usually replies within 1-2 business days.. |

While I agree they are cool, I don't think they would be slabbed. I suppose they are authentic parts of an ad, but they are not authentic cards for the CJ sets. |

Has there ever been a compelt version of this display found. I have seen several "pieces" some which were priced high and others recently on ebay that were very cheap. |
