I'm cross-posting this here since Paige gets discussed a fair amount on this side of the board and we have a lot of Exhibit experts over here.
Please let me know your thoughts on the authenticity of this card. I bought it in a lot of 1947-1966 Exhibits from a collector who seemed honest and knowledgeable. I did what diligence I could and feel confident about it, but it's raw and I know many collectors here know much more about Exhibits than I do, so I'd appreciate your opinions. I did the best I could to capture its color in these photos (for reference, the desk is espresso and the base of the lamp is silver). Setting aside any comments about the ask in the listing, it looks like the Paige being sold here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1947-66-Exh...IAAOSwThxgMtBb. It also looks like the other Exhibits in the lot it came with, and of the three examples in the middle of this page (Fox-Doby-Yankees team), the back looks most like the Doby: https://forums.collectors.com/discus...its-quot-cards. (The lot also included a Fox whose back looks most like the Doby back.) Thank you for your help. And if the seller is reading this, thank you again (I think)! |

Looks genuine as far a I can tell. It is a bit hard to tell for sure from a phone photo; the moire pattern on the front is a bit distracting but the wear and back look right. Assuming I am calling it right, that's a 1949 issue.

Thank you! I tried to get a little bit better of picture of the front, but the print dots seem to keep creating the moire pattern once I resize the picture to post. In any event, the back has a distinctly cream/tan tone in colder light, so I’m pretty certain about it. Based on what I’ve read about the wording at the bottom, it is indeed a 1949. I really appreciate the second opinion.

I agree with Adam. Looks good to me.
Color of the back stock looks original.
