The slabbing phenomena of T3s is relatively recent. I'm guessing that this may have something to do with the rise in T3s. |

High quality, high demand pieces will always get great prices. Middle of the road quality gets average prices. |

Right you are Barry--it is all about who is building what set. If you can get Louchios, Spence and Ireland all trying to do a vintage set in psa 8 or better, hang onto your wallet and stand aside. While the overall trend in high end graded cards continues to be up it is best to try to complete a number of sets at one time so you can pick your spots. |

I agree with Fred completely, the slabbing of T3s has shot their prices up beyond what the normal curve could be expected to be. |

Hi Bob- I think we do agree and I just didn't express myself clearly. By high quality I meant rare cards in great demand. I wasn't focussing solely on high grade. While Jim C. is a big believer in the future of PSA 8, and I don't disagree, I think a rare card in any condition will continue to increase in value, assuming nothing catastrophic occurs in the economy. |
