Crofts Candy VS. Crofts Cocoa

I thought Crofts Cocoa were tougher than Crofts Candy. The SCD's prices suggest the opposite. I know this guide is just a point of reference but I see less Cocoa cards. Any thoughts?

We had a recent thread about these. Croft's Candy come in three colors- black, blue, and red, and three levels of difficulty. The blacks are roughly equal or slightly more common than Croft's Cocoa, the blues somewhat more difficult, and the reds are major rarities with maybe half a dozen known. So you can't make a price comparison unless you know the color of the back.

Hey Toby,

The SCD guide is out of whack when it comes to E-92 pricing as they have Dockmans priced much higher than Crofts Cocoas and on par with Crofts Candy which is incorrect.

Barry is correct that there was a thread recently regarding relative scarcity amongst E-92 backs and that can be found here:

I think the general consensus is that Crofts Candy black backs are more plentiful than Crofts Cocoas. I know this has been my experience.

One can debate whether there are more Crofts Candy blue backs vs. Crofts Cocoas while Crofts Candy red backs are in a whole different tier regarding scarcity and the term rare probably applies here.
