I just received my copy of the Deadball Stars of the American League from The Society For American Baseball Research. Edited by David Jones with a forward by Keith Olbermann this is truly an amazing publication.Almost 800 pages of biographies of players from the Deadball Era (1901-1919). This truly brings those cards we appreciate to life and on a cold winter day it is the perfect reading material ! |
