ok.....time to look at your colgans. (back question)

I recently purchased a few colgans from a few different people. One colgan I bought from an old collection. It has a noticably different back font color, it looks brown. Is this a variation of the set or just some fluke or damaged card? Or maybe my eyes are going bad
