What's the problem Dan....if the T206 designers screwed it up 97 years ago,
then why are you so suprised that PSA did it now ?

Incidently, there was a BB player by the name of MAGIE playing in the Minors
back then. So, perhaps he was confused with SHERWOOD MAGEE when the T206
cards were first designed.

However, what's PSA's excuse, now ?

the label clearly says it's a MAGEE variation. the only potential problem i see is the labelling dept mistaking MAGIE as the corrected version...hence the need to add the MAGEE on the 2nd line.

I think the correct spelling is Magee and the incorrect spelling is Magie. There is no variation with this card. The label shouldn't even mention the MAGIE spelling variation since it doesn't apply.
