What about Broadleaf backs on T205's?

What about T205 Broadleaf. Any additional Value March 12 2006, 8:45 AM

I enjoy the talk on the T206's and different backs, but unfortunately I don't have any.

Enclosed is a scan of a t205 "Moran" card with a Broadleaf back.

Terrible shape, but any estimates on value?
Would this even get a PSA 1? Card measures correctly.

I was the one who recently purchased 190 T205's and asked for help under the post "How Collectible are T205's a while back.

Hello,
T205 comes with two different Broadleaf backs...brown and black. It looks like you have a black version (difficult to tell b/c of condition). Broadleaf backs are the third most difficult back in the T205 set (only Hindu and Drum are more difficult). There is a premium attached and even the Moran you have could bring between $25-$50 (normally a $5 to $10 card). Hope this helps...

actually they come with an Olive green back and a black back, i have not seen a brown one. the 2 colors are split about 30/70 in my experience, the green one a bit tougher.

Matt: others answered your broadleaf back question ... regarding whether PSA would grade this, I believe they would do so (it's obviously a 1, but it should grade).

First off, I respect Scott tremdously and I agree, the brown is almost khaki or olive like he says...(still brown to me though)...the backs are about 50/50 in my experience though. After looking over 10000 t205 backs in the last five years, they are pretty rare and both versions are very tough.
