The real T205s have actual metal on the borders. The metal is a dust or tiny flakes that was glued to the card. Though often tarnished, the borders will look/shine like metal dust when held at an angle to the light because it it is real metal dust. |

David is correct...the actual borders on most t205s have tarnished a bit over time but if you hold it at an angle under a decent light, the metal will shine. |

I dunno, guys, I have owned 150 T205's and looked at hundreds more and that baby looks good to me. It's a helluva fake if it is indeed a fake. |

Tarnished or not, metal dust on the borders is a very good sign of authenticity, probably the best single sign there is. |

I'm not a T205 collector, but I own a few and have handled a few more. I think the shine on the borders, the wear the card exhibits and the back are all consistent with the genuine article. I would say I am about 80% sure it is real. |

for the joss i paid $40.- also bought other cards. i took the chance i guess to buy this card. i collected t206 and E cards. so t-205 are out of my league, but i thought it was worth it to see. i got alot more HOF'ers. i dunno i like taking chances and i hope i made a good one. even if they are reprints they look nice. i think i bought about 20 or so. i will sell them on here if they are real. i dont liek selling false items. ebay i hate there fees..... so they wont be on there. |

Wow, that Joss looks real and the $40 you paid for it is only a fraction of what it is worth. Nice score! People dream about walking into those kinds of deals at flea markets and swap meets. |

I lean towards real...the back seems authentic and Joss does come with a Hassan 30 back (as Julie already demonstrated). The front looks too bright and washed out but that is probably his camera flash. $40 was a very nice price even with the creases. |

The borders are what really sold me on this card. Those borders look real good. I dunno -- I see what julie's saying and the back looks too white, but still I also lean more to real than not. |

thank you, i will get it graded by PSA, or GAI. But PSA has alot of problems right now. GAI grades extremely weirdly, i have seen cards with paper loss, and creases graded 2's and 3's. it all depends...... |
