I have two Ty Cobb strip cards. Here is what I believe to be a W516-1 Ty Cobb and a W516-1-2 Ty Cobb. The 2005 SCD does not list the W516-1-2 set, but it is now in the 2006 book. This makes it easier. The W516-1-2 states the the images, including the "IFC" copyright symbol, are reversed from the W516-1 set. I had asked several people about the two different cards, but I could not learn anything. Now that the new book is out, I see it listed. Now my problem is that the book states the the W516-1-2 "are printed only in black, red and yellow. Does this mean the the orange should not be in this set, or is orange okay because red and yellow make orange? Any help here will be greatly appreciated? |
