Some of the seller's other cards appear to be trimmed, in particular the 1915 Cracker Jacks. I don't see anything out of the ordinary with the N172 but I would realistically expect a card in the G to VG range. |

Yeah, the no warranty thing bothered me a little bit. I'm just wondering if someone could give me a clue as to whether or not this card was trimmed or counterfit or if anyone had done business with this guy before. I have a list of old judges that i was interested in and this one just happened to be the cheapest so i thought i would get opinions on it. |

The seller does have a rather strict policy on returns (basically none) but the card doesn't look to be that bad. I'd be willing to bet that the card is gradeable and that you'd get a 30 or 40 from SGC. Cahill only has two poses so this isn't so bad, even though the card seems readily available. The photo on that Old Judge is pretty good so you have selected a nice one for your collection if you intend to buy it. You could do worse. |

The "No return" is bothersome, but--it bugs the hell out of me when a grading company calls an Old Judge a 5 when you can hardly SEE the pictyure because the contrast is so bad--this card has very nuice contrast. |
