Hopefully the scan shows up. My first vintage card. Got this in the late 1970's for $10 at a local card store. It was probably mint at one time but I didn't know about card protectors back then. Also got a Matty portrait for $7.50 that I unfortunately later traded for a Mantle. |

Everyone likes the Green Cobb instead huh??? Well isn't this the nicest one you've ever seen! There is actually a real story behind this one. My father was tearing down some walls in my grandfather's house a couple years back and found it. We don't know the history behind it but took it to a couple dealers who claimed it was authentic. I tried selling it on Ebay raw, but several mean Ebayers wrote me nasty messages claiming the card was a fake. I then tried selling it as a repint and it still didn't sell. Finally I decided to have it graded, and bygolly PSA gave it an 8. Mastro was so nice and kind to take it off my hands for no consignement fee whatsoever. |

I won this on eBay last week. I outbid a guy named Adam for it, and was damned. I am happy to report I have not yet burst into flames. |

You mean you just didn't want to see a Red Cobb because you hadn't seen one lately? Some people claim to have much difficulty finding them, but obviously they're not looking in the right places. I knew where you were going with this when the thread first started. |

Josh - your intent came through loud and clear to me. I just don't have any red Cobbs left. I actually offered one to the unnamed target but he passed. It was unslabbed and a definite 4 maybe a 5 - but unfortunately not the 2 for which he yearns. |
