How thin are these? I have an opportunity to pick up a Mack and Griffith. What kind of prices in EX? They are blank backed with writing on them. Were these ever reprinted? I've seen a TCMA reprint from 1970's on the Athletics but they are marked as such on the back. |

They are PC thickness (think 1/2 way between a National Chicle fine pen and an exhibit card). All the ones I've seen are sepia front on creamy stock. |

The real T5 Pinkertons are pricy but the postcards shouldn't be. For example I picked up a Wagner and a few other mid tier HOF's lately for the $125-$200 range....my guess is that would be market on those too.....but then ya never know....the Cobby went for about $800 after juice in the Mastro last night, I believe....regards |

I'm not aware that the cards have been reprinted. It has long been an obscure issue. Until recently, most people gave the cards little notice and many weren't even sure they were vintage. |

I paid about $175 for a vg Wagner, under $75 for vg condition Chance and Bender cards, last year. Definitely a bargain on a playing days Wagner IMHO. |

Perhaps this is merely a reflection of my sheltered past, but I've never seen a Pinkerton card with postcard printing on back. I've seen the cards with a generic scorecard printed on back and blank backed. The blank backs were on occasion used as postcards way back when, with a handwritten letter, address and postmark. |
