With apologies if this happens to be someone who posts on this forum but do you think maybe this seller is trying to ca$h in on the popularity of horizontal cards these days?

no,the seller is using ebay ipic and if you put the image horizontal it shows the card larger. i do it all the time,it gives a bigger image of the card.

i've noticed that the scans do come out larger, but now i have to "lay" on computer desk sideways to get a good look at them...
