T205 Question

Does anyone knowif the T205 Shean Cubs version is more common in the Hassan back or Polar bear back? I remember this being mentioned quite a long while back but couldnt remember

I think the Shean only comes with the Hassan back and is considered rarer than the Graham, which comes with both the Hassan and Polar Bear backs.

Just got a shean cubs version sgc 40 with a polar bear back. I didnt even know if was polar bear until it arrived

First off, neither is scarcer than the other...both come with both Hassan fact. 30 and fact. 649 backs and Polar Bear backs.

Over the years, I have seen both said to be scarcer than the other. Just a myth. I am fairly certain that they were printed at the same time in the later printing (when the Hassan fact. 30s were printed).

As an aside, I got a note from a collector I had talked to about the scarcity of Fact. 42 Piedmont backs in the t-205 set (I say very scarce...right around between American Beauty and Broadleaf)...he tried to consign them to an auction house and they told him the scarcity was only in the t-206 set...anybody care to comment...(I think last time I asked, I got three seperate people with complete sets have a total of 10 cards w/ a piedmont 42 back--that is 16 out of 800 cards {incl. my set}--I would say that is a rarity)
