I keep a good record of what T206's sell for and I used the fine T206 estimator and the value comes out to $75 on the card below. The PSA5 Harry Pattee sold for $333+. Am I missing something? Usually the estimator and the prices realized are a tad closer. |

I saw that same horizontal card (1 of the 2 I need to finsh the horiz. subset) raw for $120 in VG or G condition with a common back. I don't understand why it's priced higher - I believe its a common, anyone know the answer? |

Plus is a nice looking horizontal and difficult to find in EX and above for the set collectors. Hope this answers your question. |

$120 for a raw one in g-vg? Be patient Trae, you'll find an example of that card in comparable condition for 1/4 of the price on ebay. |

to be found with those back types (El Principe, Hindu, Old Mill, Piedmont, Sovereign and Sweet Caporal). However, before I started collecting caramels, I had quite a large collection of every one of the 150 Series ONLY cards (except the Wagner). The cards ONLY issued in the 150 Series are: G.Brown (Cubs) (in fact, much scarcer than the more expensive Washington variation - a good buy at common prices!), M. Brown (Cubs on Shirt), Burch (Batting), Donlin (Fielding), Evers (Cubs On Shirt), Pattee (Hor.), Pelty (Hor.), Powers and Reulbach (Glove Shows). |

has anyone ever seen a Schulte Front View (Cubs on Chest) with a 350 Series back? I know, according to the books and experts it is suppose to be a card issued in the 150 and 350 Series. However, Brian W. and I talked about this over a year ago - as of that time (we both had a few each and had seen several), we had only seen this card with 150 Series backs? Is this another card that was issued only in the 150 Series of 1909? Does anybody own one with a 350 Series back? |

One other thing we have not seen in awhile is the hyper prices paid for T206 PSA 5's. In the past they have gone for as much as $200 for a common. |

Not sure who owns it, but what a true rarity...a proof that shows an alternate pose. I'd much rather own this than a wagner. I really would. |

350 backs were printed in 1909 also, just later in the year. One would presume that 150 back fronts were printed before 350 backs, but it's possible that the fronts were all printed at the same time, and then a different back (a 350) was affixed to the front. |

Thanks for the link Trae - I just bought one. You are rapidly becoming the king of all things t206. Now if you could just give me the story of Buck Hooker....I can't find any info on him and am curious about the Virginia League players. |

I will try and find some information on Buck for you - although I'd be willing to bet someone knows something and will light there bulb for you and output somme stuff you need to know. I will never be the king, though I do appreciate the faith in me! I am just getting started - I have some ideas up my sleeve to help everyone become their own king of T206 knowledge. With the help of the right kind folks around here my project(s) will be a definite success for all of us who collect T206's. My goal is knowledge and a one-stop resource for all! |
