he and his wife kate never had kids though there's some great stories about joe teaching the neighbor kids how to play ball, even letting them use black betsy for sandlot games |

I'm fairly sure he had at least one brother because I remember a story about one of his brothers having an accident in the mill that left him disabled. The ended up being an incident that spurred Joe on to try professional baseball. |

I am looking for information on a brother named Jimmy. I purchased a postcard(sorry no image) that has a cartoon image of a man that looks like Joe Jackson and there is refernce to his brother Jimmy. The card is an advertisement for Jimmy's Hotel in Egg Harbor City, NJ. |
