I was checking out this vintage card link and was surprised to find a link for the Virgin Mary -- I didn't think she had a vintage card. |

collect prayer cards (along with baseball cards) some of them are quite colorful. I have several Mary cards and a very nice Jesus with purple background, and also a Last Supper which to me is like a baseball team picture. |

Lunkheads who insist on proselytizing like the one quoted can take their religious beliefs and cram them. I am so sick of self-righteous bible thumpers trying to push their religious views on everyone else. Memo to the zealots: a majority of the world's population do not ascribe to your religious beliefs. Keep them to yourselvesl; we don't care to hear them. |

I think prayer cards and baseball cards are natural complements to each other. Let's not be so quick to disregard our common spiritual heritage. |

Don't some players cross themselves before they bat? And (O/T) what's all this kneeling in the endzone? |

to be religious to enjoy religious things. I don't mean there is religion BUILT INTO baseball, but there are plenty of devout players. |
