I know it's a long shot, but I am doing this on my own, with not a whole lot of cash. I helped assemble a complete set of CJ's about a year ago, and I have not been able to shake the set. Unfortunately, the set that I worked on was sold, so I thought that I would set off on my own "grail quest". I am looking for the bottom of the barrel RAW 1914 Cracker Jacks that might be lurking out there. I'll look at anything, trimmed, altered, burned, cut, folded, you name it. Here's the kicker though, I am not looking to pay any more than $20-$80 a card, depending on the card. Crazy, perhaps, I just bought a Joe Wood for $68, and outside of a crease, I'd say it's a great card. So, if you have any Cracker Jacks that you have thought, "My god, who would buy this?", I'm him. |

Now that I am thinking about this, if I shoot for a master set, I can also be a safe harbor for the beaten and abused 1915 CJ's as well. Thanks for all the responses so far. |

I appreciate all the emails, still looking for more 14's, than 15's. |
