I bought this cool semi-pro baseball team photo from an antique shop over the weekend and I wonder if anyone can help me identify any of the players, if anyone made it to the pros, or ultimately (paydirt for me) ended up in the Hall of Fame. Chief Bender was discovered by the Philadelphia Athletics in 1905 playing for the HAC for $100 a month, but this was before the date of the photo. Jim Thorpe was sent there from the Giants, but this was in 1915 (and nobody looks like him either). Thanks for any help you can provide in advance. |
