I just wanted to point out these two auctions. Both for the same card. Both graded PSA 4. Not much to choose between the two cards. The two cards ended about the same time. But look at the huge difference in price. I can just imagine if one of these cards were graded by a different company, how it would be used as an example of the supriority of one grading company over another. Just goes to show you that you can't look at isolated incidences. |

how about the underbidders. That is usually where the shills are. |

At least 3 of the direct underbidders are legit. Why they didn't bid on the other card is hard to understand. |

I think the difference in price is related to the quality of the scans provided. The higher priced card had several nice scans available, the lower priced card had one very unclear scan. I wouldn't have bid that much more for the same grade card but then again I probably wouldn't have bid on the card with the poor scan either. |

The cheaper one has a huge stain on his sleeve. That alone should be enough to account for the difference in price. |

The guy that won the bid, I believe sells alot of cards in PRO holders. Maybe he this card is a better candidate for trimmimg. I could be wrong but it would only be the first time. |

Judge Dred has it right. Better, closer-up pictures. Plus the seller has a better feedback record. Sometimes it's that simple to make an item appear more attractive to a bidder. |
