Question re: Clean Sweep/Verkman Auction

Has anyone had any experience with him or his auction? Is it really just a sale masquerading as an auction? (I'm interested in one of the items, but the minimum bid is far higher than the item's actual worth--even by Mastro standards!) Also, I've sent two e-mails asking him questions and neither was responded to.

Is this an outfit to stay away from?
